The FEEDBACK Monthly Film Festival is back for 2019.. Our home is The Carlton Cinemas, located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 20 Carlton Street. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.

Continuing to showcase the best of short films from around the world, while maintaining our audience feedback format moderated by Matthew Toffolo. Showcasing a festival three times a month in Toronto in 2019!

Tickets for 2019 are FREE or PAY WHAT YOU LIKE.

If you like to obtain seats in advance and pick them up on the day of the event (come for FREE, or make a donation), please email us at festival@under5minutefilmfestival.com and we’ll reserve seats for you.

You can always make a tiny donation to the festival to guarantee your seats and skip the lines:

You can pick up the tickets on the day of the event at the cinema. Tickets are first come, first serve. This festival has sold out 76 out of its last 78 events!

You will be able to buy alcohol (beer, wine, liquor), popcorn, candy, and refreshments before the show.

FIRST ACT PROGRAM

IN UNION AND DEATH, 5min., Mexico, Drama/Family

Directed by Santiago Niembro

Adolfo goes to visit her mother’s grave on Mexico’s “Day of the Dead” where he will find his stepfather to sort things out after years of resentment.

My movie is about a 9 year old girl who is given to a children’s home by his dad. She continues believing in stepping in her dead mother´s footprints as a ballerina. 20 years later she fulfilled her dream and by accident meets her father – homeless. Finally she understands all the money and time he did´t give to her when she was young, because he was addicted to gambling.

Vioulet falls through time and space as they struggle with the dark presence of Kei through song and dance in this exploration of duality.

FISH CRACKER, 13min., Turkey, Drama/Family

Directed by Yigit Evgar

A brother and sister aged 8 and 14, are forced to leave the place they once called home after the sudden break-up of their parents, and revisit as ‘guests’. The return is to bid farewell to their father before they move out of the city with their mother. However, they soon realise that neither their home nor their father is as it used to be.
