Laney, an older woman, haunted by memories of her husband, descends into depression, mental instability, delusions, and financial loss. Secluded, and isolated she resorts to various ways to remain independent. Her daughter, Cydney, encourages her to get assistance dealing with the mental condition that plagues the family but finds her mother to be resistant. Can Cydney reach Laney before she damages herself and her family permanently?
